What is the Gospel?

To me, the Gospel is simple. The hero (Christ) came and died for the villains (us) because there is no greater love than to die for another. Now, as Christians our role is to love God with our mind, body, and soul and then go out and share the Gospel with others and baptize them in the name of God the Father, His son Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit.

"For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Anyone who believes in him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God."

John 3:16-18 (CSB)

Would you like to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior today?

Salvation is a free gift that is inclusive and available for everyone. If you would like to receive that gift, start by praying this aloud to Jesus:

"Jesus, I recognize that I am a sinner and fall short of your glory. I am in desperate need of saving and that salvation comes through you alone. I believe in you to cleanse me of my sin and usher me into a reconciled relationship with you. You are now my Lord and it is you I choose to follow forever and ever. I commit my life and my spirit to you. I say these things in your precious name, Jesus. Amen."

You are now a new creation in Christ! If you have said this simple prayer, the next step is to find a local Bible Based church and tell someone there that you are born anew in Christ and are ready for some next steps in living a holy and sanctified life.
